Cameras

Nikon Z6 – One of my main cameras. I’ve always been a Nikon fan and even now can highly recommend this camera. It’s even cheaper with the release of the Nikon Z6 II but is still a great performer. I primarily use this camera for still images.

Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III – Originally I bought this camera for videography but have since been using it a lot more for stills. Compact, light and excellent stablisation.

GoPro Hero10 Black – Currently my backup vlogging camera when using the Olympus for stills. Perfect for putting inside my pocket.

Lenses

Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S – My main walkabout lens for the Nikon Z6. This is without a doubt one of the highest quality lenses I’ve ever had the pleasure of using and has an incredibly versatile focal length.

Sigma Macro 105mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM – My main macro lens for shooting with the Z6. Paired with the FTZ adapter this lens has served me well over the years but I do find myself using the M.Zuiko 60mm a lot more due to the weight differences. This is still a very excellent and high quality lens.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F5.0-6.3 IS – My main lens for wildlife photography. When I want to capture something far away this is what I go for. The zoom allows me to track subjects with ease.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm F2.8 Macro – The size of this macro lens makes it the perfect accompaniment for the E-M5. Light and versatile especially when trying to handhold quick shots with outstretched arms.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 14-42 mm F3.5-5.6 EZ Lens – My main vlogging lens. It’s not the highest quality in the world for stills but gets the job done well got vlogging and being such a compact size it can easily fit in a pocket.

Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14‑150mm F4‑5.6 II – A versatile lens that is great for city breaks or when I’m not quite sure what type of shoot I want.

Tripods

K&F Concept 72″ Aluminium Overhead Tripod – This tripod has got it all for a great price while been quite compact. It can be a bit fiddly to open and close and there’s a bit of patience required when playing with the centre column arm. But you can’t really argue with what you get for the price.

JOBY GorillaPod 3K PRO Kit – When you want to get low to the ground or have something that’s easy to slip into the camera bag without weighing you down this is it. I use the 3K one and it is great for my mirrorless cameras with most lenses but be sure to check your own weight requirements.

Lights

Aputure MC – Hands down this is the best portable light I’ve ever owned. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket, comes with an array of colours and unlike a lot of other lights doesn’t sound like it’s about to take off when you turn it on.
