I can’t believe it’s nearly a month since my last blog post. That’s never a good thing. On the bright side I’ve been quite busy. The YouTube channel has been taking up a fair bit of my photography time as you might expect, but I can happily say I’m loving it. I love making videos for it and I love that people are watching the videos I make, so thank you as always.
As I mentioned in one of the videos, but not here, I’ve created some free presets off the back of the 4 Style Edits videos. These presets can be downloaded here: https://www.scottlyons.co.uk/shop/p/4-styles-2021-free-preset-pack. Don’t be put off by the whole add to cart thing, they are completely free!
Want some examples of the types of images you can get out of these presets? Here you go:
The other thing I was going to talk about is fungi, mushrooms, toadstools….whatever you want to call them. Ever since my first little walkabout video (still not settled on calling it a vlog), I’ve been trying, and mostly failing to find some decent mushrooms to capture. The one you see above is from Pensthorpe Natural Reserve in Norfolk, but what I’ve really been after is some fly agaric mushrooms. You know the ones, they look like they’re straight out the Alice in Wonderland.
As luck would have it I finally found a place that had some of the wonderful little red and white delights I was after and me being me I was already making a little video around it. Here it is if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80jPI1hlOyw
So I don’t think it’s too early to say, but I think I have my Print of the Month picked out for the month’s end. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with some more fungi to enjoy
