Hello everyone! How are you doing? I’ll pre-warn you this is more of just a general blather on and catch up with what I’ve been up to lately in photography and maybe life and everything else.

So I’ve been super busy recently. That much is very true. I wonder if I have too many hobbies but then remind myself that I love each and every one of them. As usual photography has been taking a forefront in that but there’s been some nice sprinkles of running Dungeons and Dragons games here. The two of these have absolutely zero in common so it’s an interesting juggling act sometimes. And then there’s YouTube which is still fascinating me completely.

So what fun updates can I share? Lets start with a few pretty photographs to look at.

At the time of writing this I don’t think a single one of these images is available on this site to purchase. There’s a couple of reasons there, but the primary one is I’ve honestly just been having fun editing new and old images and posting them to Twitter for people to see and enjoy. Sure, there’s a few in there that I might get around to uploading and putting up for sale, and of course if someone really wanted a print they know where to ask. But for now it’s just nice creating and sharing. I like it that way.

I mentioned YouTube earlier. Currently I’m doing a little test of not posting my YouTube videos on Twitter. I know, it sounds mad…..why wouldn’t I want to share them? I’m curious who is going to find the channel naturally and it’s interesting to see who is watching because they’re interested in the video rather than me pushing it all the time. But I will post links to them again soon (probably in the new year). And if you really really want to see my channel go check out the link in the top right of this page.

While on the subject I am absolutely loving making my 4 Styles videos and think I’ve found the stride with them. I admit sometimes it’s a bit dicey because I can’t always get outside to get new photographs (especially in the winter when I work full time and it’s dark when finishing work….I know, I’m moaning). But I’ve been finding some old photos to edit too and it’s great giving them a new lease of life….such as this most recent one of this squirrel that I took in January 2021 (check out the shop for prints of this one!)

But I I do love a good walkabout video and I’m still absolutely beaming at the photography which is my Print of the Month of the Baby Mushroom from Padley Gorge. As usual this print will only be available for December 2021 and after that it won’t be up for sale here or anywhere else.

BABY MUSHROOM!!!!

That’s about it really. I’m hoping to keep going how I’m going, sharing to Twitter, uploading new YouTube videos as I see fit and enjoying my photography hobby for what it is. I mean, it’s all for fun right?
